About Me

Matt was born in Stamford, CT, only an hour train-ride from New York City. Even before he found a passion for performing, he had a chance to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Broadway and was captivated. He began taking classes at his local community theatre, followed a teacher from there to John Robert Powers, and started pursuing a film/TV career. It was not until 7th grade that he would audition for The Music Man, and discover his passion for musical theatre. He continued to perform in various musicals including playing Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, which he still calls his most challenging role to date.

Professionally, he has worked at Pines Dinner Theatre, where he performed in an original revue titled America Sings, and  played Cosmo Brown in Singin’ in the Rain. He just finished playing W.S. “Fluke” Holland” in Million Dollar Quartet at Forestburgh Playhouse.

Besides acting, Matt is an accomplished and passionate musician, who plays the drums, piano and guitar. He also is an avid ultimate frisbee player, and has a passion for fitness, health and nutrition. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
